Shipping policy

 Shipping Locations

We ship to all 50 states except Utah, South Dakota, Hawaii, California, and Massachusetts. We do ship to APOs (Army Postal Offices). Thank you to all of our troops that support us! We can also ship to Puerto Rico. Please contact us with any questions! We currently do not offer international shipping.


Shipping Provider and Costs

Our main shipping provider is UPS. The shipping cost is Flat Rate Ground for $15. When your package has been shipped, we will email you with a confirmation of your order and it’s associated tracking number so you can see the estimated time of arrival. Shipping confirmations and tracking numbers will be sent 24-48 hours after shipment.

Shipping Times

Orders placed before 4pm will be shipped out the same day, any orders placed after 5pm will be shipped the following day. All orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be shipped out the following Monday, due to staff hours and local UPS hours.

After your package has shipped, the estimated delivery time is 2-7 business days. 

*Shipping times cannot be guaranteed due to UPS transportation issues, weather conditions, and other unexpected delays that may occur.

Always check your tracking number (in the shipping confirmation sent to your email) for the most up to date information regarding the estimated delivery of your package. 


Tracking a Package

Once your order is packaged and processed by our staff, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us within 24-48 hours containing your tracking number so you can follow your package during transit. You can click on the link provided in the email to see your tracking information.

 

Invalid Tracking Information

If your tracking number is "invalid", please be patient and check for updated information again after an hour or two.

If it continues to read as invalid, please contact us so we can provide you with an updated tracking number. Please note, not all of our employees have access to customer shipping information. If an employee is unable to obtain the correct tracking number for you, a manager will follow up with you as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience!


Incorrect Shipping Address

The shipping address that you provide for the order is the one we will print on the shipping label, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages if you provide us with an incorrect shipping address and fail to correct it in time. 

If your order was submitted and you notice that the shipping address is incorrect, please contact us via phone or email as soon as possible so we can correct it before it ships. If the address is incorrect and your package is already in transit, then please contact us so we can attempt to correct the issue (Change of Address fees may apply). We will do everything we can to correct the issue, but we cannot guarantee a change of address depending on the progress of the shipment. 


Delivery Instructions

*Packages are not eligible for specific delivery instructions. 

Before submitting your order, if you include a comment in the “Notes” section, such as “Have UPS place it between the screen door and the main door” or “Please do not ring the doorbell” - We can not confirm that these requests will be met. UPS may not be able to meet specific delivery instructions - UPS drivers will follow company protocol when attempting to deliver your package which may require them to ring your doorbell to see if you’re home, etc.


Damaged Packages

For Packages Shipped via UPS/USPS:

If your package is damaged during transit and you are requesting a refund or replacement, we will put a claim in with UPS/USPS. Please note that it may take 2-10 business days to process a claim, which means it could take up to 2-10 business days to receive a refund or replacement order.

Legal

We do not sell or ship tobacco products to persons under the age of 21. All tobacco products, upon confirmation of the adult age of the buyer via external methods, are shipped by UPS with Adult Signature Required to ensure that the receiving party is of legal age to receive these products. Due to State laws, we cannot ship tobacco products to Utah, South Dakota, California, or Massachusetts. Additionally, due to recent changes in California Law in 2019 into 2020, Ralph’s Cigars requires an adult signature for any deliveries to California in accordance with California Senate Bill 39 (CA SB-39 Tobacco products).

We do not sell or ship the following products: Vaping products or associated products, cigarettes, shisha, hookah, little cigars, smokeless tobacco, pipe tobacco, and other prohibited tobacco products. 

We do not ship tobacco products outside of the United States.

Ralph's Cigars complies with all Local, County, State, and Federal tax laws and regulations related to tobacco sales. Ralph's Cigars pays all taxes for sales of tobacco products and accessories shipped within the State of Illinois. Customers in states other than Illinois are responsible for paying any tax levied by their state.
